Here are some 2D & 3D Animation Examples I have worked on in university. The first animation was a simple project to showcase the 12 principles of animation on a simple cube.
The 2D VFX Animations are for the game “Demonic Resources”, which is about a lowly goat demon, called Daemon, who didn't get promoted in 666 years. With the denial of his latest request, he finally looses composure and ends up killing his supervisor in a burst of rage. However, getting rid of your superiors doesn't sit well with the *Demonic* Resources department and Daemon promptly gets fired, which in this case is to be taken quite literally (and leads to the games defining core mechanic):
Daemon finds himself burning up from the inside and has to constantly replenish his life force by killing his former colleagues. He can do this by using his Helldive ability, which turns him into an invincible fireball. Executing the ability requires energy, which gets recharged through jumping. Therefore the player is strongly encouraged to keep moving, which appeals to such target groups as speedrunners.
